Aleksei Archer is a versatile and lively American actor. Her birthplace is New York. The 14th of August is when TV personalities celebrate their birthdays. She was born St. Louis and moved swiftly to New York City when she was just a couple of days old. In 1991, she graduated from Barnard College with a degree in art historical studies. In the same year, she was hired as an intern for An American Place restaurant for an entire year. But Guarnaschelli's experience in the kitchen began in the early years of watching her mom test numerous recipes in her kitchen while editing cookbooks. After a stint with Larry Forgione in New York in France, New York and Los Angeles she also worked in Guy Savoy's La Butte Chaillot. Guarnaschelli was eventually the chef in charge at Butter. Guarnaschelli defeated Cat Cora on Food Network's Iron Chef America 2007 Farmers Market Battle. Guarnaschelli has since been a judge on the program as well as in the 2011 season of The Next Iron Chef season four, where she finished third runner-up. In addition, she competed on Food Network's Food Network Challenge Ultimate Thanksgiving Feast episode but was eliminated from the contest. The fourth season of The Next Iron Chef, she started working as an assistant chef for Iron chef Geoffrey Zakarian. In 2008, she became the host of The Food Network's The Cooking Loft with Alex Guarnaschelli in which she instructs an intimate group of students instructing them on how to reinvent classic dishes.
