Rosie Huntington Whiteley (born in England) is an English businesswoman and model. The actress became famous when she was chosen to appear in her role in the Transformers series of films. Since then she has appeared in other films like Mad Max: Fury Road or The Meg. Victoria's Secret, a well-known American business that manufactures and markets women's underwear, womenswear, and beauty items is where she first made her famous. Her role was as the brand's face of Burberry Body, the luxury scent from a British brand of fashion. Then, she moved into acting. She acted as a supporting character in the American sci fi action flick Transformers Dark of the Moon. The film was the third movie of the Transformers series. The film had a great commercial success, earning over $1 billion. This film has also been nominated in multiple Oscar categories. It took a few more years before she was cast for Mad Max Fury Road, an action movie. The film was successful commercially enabling her to succeed in making the move into acting from being just a model. She has won several prizes throughout her career, among them an Elle Style Award as Model of the Year in 2009 as well as the Harper Bazaar Women of the Year Award in 2014 and 2016. Forbes magazine also ranked her among the best models worldwide.
